2018 Rooted Tree

  • Rooted is an opportunity for our middle school youth to grow in faith and deepen relationships. HOWEVER, everyone in the congregation is invited to participate.  Rooted is intentionally intergenerational and activity based.  Our group's ages have ranged from 11 - 94!
  • Rooted meets at Grace Lutheran Church once or twice a month from 5:15 -7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.  The evening begins with a simple dinner followed by a time of Dwelling in the Word. Then the evening opens into that night's project or activity.  Creating tied fleece blankets for a local agency, baking bread for communion, or learning how to decorate cookies.  We share our faith through it all.
  • Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at  5:15 pm at Grace. Our quest to learn more about God's Word continues at Rooted. The evening will begin with a simple meal, and as always, there is room at the table for you. If you have questions, talk to Sarah Bultman.
  • Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 5:15 at Grace On the third Wednesday of each month, we meet at Grace for dinner and to prepare activities for the kids at Pillars. In November, we will have some Thanksgiving themed crafts and games. Please join us!
  • Rooted Retreat Plans are in the works for a Rooted Retreat in November that will be centered on the Apostles' Creed. What do we believe? Why do we believe that? We will discuss some important questions in Christianity . . . but have a TON of fun while we are at it! Watch for details.
  • Rooted is experimental, so we will be making changes along the way, growing and learning together as we go.
  • Ephesians 3:16-17 says "I pray that according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love."
